Mommy Makeover Procedure

What is a Mommy Makeover? Hmmm..

Well, it is a procedure consisting of a tummy
tuck
, liposuction, breast lift with augmentation, which make up the surgical
procedures as Mommy Makeover. If an individual opt to have this procedure done, it
is advised that it should be done at the same time. Surgeons observed that it
provides multiple benefits including less over all recovery time. In addition, it
also less the surgical fees since it comes as a package and in some cases less
incision sites.

During woman's pregnancy, they will experience laxity in on their skin and muscle
which gives them undesirable sagging skin on the part of the tummy, and even on the sides. During post-pregnancy tummy tuck which is perform at least 6 months after giving birth. The board certified surgeons gives several options depending
on the degree of skin and muscle sagging in your tummy.

A standard tummy tuck is performed when an incision is made from hip to hip below
the bikini line, excess skin is removed, the muscles are tightened down the center
of the abdomen and the incision is sutured. A new belly button is then created.
It is important to remember that you will be unable to lift children or any heavy
objects for about 2-3 weeks.

The surgeons at California Surgical Institute are highly specialized in high
lateral tension tummy tucks, which also incorporates tightening of the muscles on
the side of the abdomen. This brings in the sides of the mid-section, resulting in
a more toned result. The same basic principles apply to both methods.

Pregnancy and breast feeding can take a toll on breasts, drastically reducing
their size and volume. This often causes the breasts to sag. Some women chose to
undergo a breast lift and augmentation to restore the appearance of breasts prior
to pregnancy, while others grow quite fond of the larger breasts during this time
and opt for post pregnancy breast augmentation.

Cosmetic Surgery Champ: I’m 54 – but look 25!

We asked 54-year-old Cindy Jackson, the Guinness World Records holder for most cosmetic surgery procedures (51), what’s it like to look 25. Here’s her reply:

Successful cosmetic surgery is life-changing on many levels, boosts self-confidence, attracts criticism, causes jealousy and completely changes the way you are perceived by others!

I‘ve experienced all that in varying degrees over the past 23 years. Unlike 1988 — when I had my first procedure – cosmetic plastic surgery is now mainstream. Plastic Surgeons: Get a Real One!

Many physicians offering cosmetic services like liposuction, facial fillers or wrinkle removal have an M.D. degree but have not had training beyond medical school in general surgery or plastic surgery techniques.
